The Fortress of Doom

The Fortress of Doom is a fortified household in Raleigh, North Carolina, where a number of The World Oligarchy's officials reside and several others visit regularly. It is often used for various Oligarchy functions, meetings, and parties. The Fortress is often seen as a secondary seat of power of the Oligarchy, second only to the Enloe Oligarchy Government Complex; indeed, during Norman's Rebellion, Co-Ruler Brendan Dillon declared the Fortress to be the temporary headquarters of the Oligarchy while Norman the Elf held control of Enloe. One of the major battles of that conflict also took place at the Fortress. Additionally, the corporate office of Death Inc., Senior Prophet Paul Pulley's secret evil megacorp, are located here.

The Fortress, or FOD as it is often referred to, has hosted the majority of Oligarchy parties in recent history, primarily due to the impressively large liquor cabinet maintained by Paul Pulley (the owner of the Fortress). Notable examples include the Oligarchy's annual New Year's Party and Cronan Thompson Memorial Wake.

Residents of the FOD, while sober, also pride themselves in their high state of readiness against home invasion, zombie attacks, and Armageddon, by keeping a number of firearms and bladed weapons. Additionally, an access door to what would normally be a basement is actually a passage into a pocket of fifth-dimension space, where Death Inc.'s armory is located. This armory is stocked with all the equipment an evil megacorp could need, with other fifth-dimensional passages leading to strategic locations around the world.

The Fortress of Doom was established in January 2002 by Senior Prophets Paul Pulley and Bevin Conners. The residents of its five bedrooms change out occasionally, but there is always a strong Oligarchy presence; in the summer of 2004, the FOD achieved a 100% Oligarchy membership rate.

Death Inc. is a secret evil magacorporation owned by Senior Prophet Paul Pulley. It is completely autonomous from the Oligarchy government, but Paul usually directs the megacorp's operations to coincide with Oligarchy interests. Its central office is located at the Fortress of Doom, but branches of the company have been established worldwide, and the de facto governments of Haiti and the former Yugoslavia consist of the company's local offices in those regions. Death Inc. also maintains a large research lab in Antarctica, where the company's R&D&R&D (Research and Development and Random Destruction) department is located.

By its very nature, most of Death Inc.'s operations are classified, but these projects have been approved for public release:
